Episode Title: Bob & Larry Gettin' Angry

Episode Number: 2b

Synopsis: After an accident in which Larry messes up Bob and Petunia's game of checkers,
Bob is angry as a result and refuses to forgive Larry. Because of this, Petunia reminds
the two that "You shouldn't let the sun go down on your anger". Of course, they end up
taking this out of context, to which Larry also gets angry with Bob when he throws away
his cheese, and also refuses to forgive Bob. The two then resolve to stay up late for
the rest of their lives all while still remaining angry with each other, even resorting
to competing in a staring contest. After Petunia sets things straight with Bob and Larry
and explain to them the true meaning of the verse, the two friends forgive each other
and are able to go to sleep.

Review: Now this is another episode that really had me surprised by the aftermath. While
I agree that we cannot hold on to our anger and that we should forgive others, I couldn't
help but start to wonder if it was really worth it to have Bob and Larry take out of context
the true meaning of the verse "You shouldn't let the sun go down on your anger". You'd think
that someone as intelligent and enlightened like Bob would know what that verse means, but
then again, this is "VeggieTales In The House" that we're talking about here. I don't have
anything against this episode, but I honestly think that it was a bit strange for Bob and
Larry to take this whole 'staying angry with each other' thing a bit too personally. In
fact, I did think it was really funny the way that Bob and Larry were throwing each other's
personal items out the window during their dispute, as well as the scene where while staying
awake, they begin to hallucinate Junior Asparagus, Pa Grape, Jimmy Gourd, and Mr. Lunt, in
that order, in the room with them, only to rebuff these hallucinations.

There is another humorous bit that I must point out in this episode, in which where after
the whole incident with Larry accidentally messing up the checkers game and Petunia suggests
to Bob and Larry that they take a hike, Larry then claims that "'Physical Outdoor Cardiovascular
Activity' is my middle name", which Petunia finds to be unfortunate. I couldn't help but have
a little chuckle at this bit. I also did think it was funny when Bob and Larry were having
that staring contest, along with the song they sang, which, for some strange reason, reminded
me of the song, "Smooth", which was performed by Rob Thomas and Santana. Then, near the end
of the episode when Petunia is able to clear things up with Bob and Larry, telling them what
the verse really means, I really did like the song, "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Your Anger",
which explains that no matter what the problem is how angry or upset we are, we shouldn't let
the sun go down on our anger, because God doesn't want us to not go to sleep and that we should
forgive each other, which I think worked wonders in this episode.

Final Thoughts: This was one of the most bizarre yet humorously surreal episodes that I have
ever seen in my life, coupled with a good lesson in letting go of your anger.

Overall Score: 6/10
I now bring the fourth episode of "Cave Cat's Anime and Cartoon Reviews". This time, it's the second segment of the second episode of "VeggieTales In The House".
